Vendor Rules, Guidelines, and Regulations

General Information:


  • Small Business Saturday is held outdoors in The Breakfast Klub’s parking lot every Saturday.


  • The Breakfast Klub provides (1) canopy/tent 10’ x 10’, (1) 6-foot table, and (2) chairs.


  • Tablecloths and any additional tables and chairs are NOT provided by The Breakfast Klub. You will need to bring those items yourself.


  • There are no assigned booth spaces. Booth availability is on a first-come, first-available basis.


  • The Breakfast Klub DOES NOT provide electricity.


  • The Breakfast Klub will not provide change. Please be sure to come with enough money to conduct transactions.

Fees: Booth fees are $150 per booth, per day.

Payments:

• All invoices and payments are processed through PayPal.

• Invoice payments are due upon receipt. You do not have a spot as a vendor until your payment is completed.

Refunds and Cancellations:


  • YOU MUST contact the Small Business Saturday Coordinator, Dana Rogers-Yates by the close of business Wednesday before your scheduled date if you intend to cancel.


  • All payments are final. No refunds will be given and there are no credits given to vendors who do not cancel in the proper amount of time.


  • Failure to show up to the event will result in forfeiture of all fees.


  • In the event of severe weather, The Breakfast Klub will cancel the showcase. Fees will transfer over to another available date. No other refunds/credits will be given.

Set-up:


  • As previously stated, The Breakfast Klub will provide (1) canopy/tent, (1) table, and (2) chairs. Vendors are responsible for any additional items needed for their booth.

  • Set-up begins at 7:45 am and all vendors must be in place and ready to open for business by 9:00 am. Late setup is not allowed. Vendors who have not arrived by 8:45 am will be considered “no-shows” and will forfeit all fees.

  • Tables must be covered and all totes, boxes, crates, etc. must be neatly stacked or hidden from view. Nothing can be affixed or anchored to anything on the property. Parking is allowed only in the designated areas. Driving and/or parking in the parking lot is only permitted for unloading and loading items for set-up.

  • Pets, alcoholic beverages, smoking, vulgar language, and unapproved fundraising are not permitted.

Parking:

Vendors are asked to park at the lot located near South Main Baptist Church.

The address is 900 Truxillo St. You will see signs that say The Breakfast Klub parking.

Take Down:


  • Vendors are asked not to break down their booth until the end of the showcase (2 pm). Please do not linger at your booth once the showcase has ended.


  • Vendors will have 30 minutes to disassemble their booth at the end of the event.


  • Vendors who break down and leave earlier will not be asked back to future events and forfeit all fees. The only time this does not apply is in the event of inclement weather.

Permits & Sales Tax:


  • Compliance with all city, county, state, and federal rules/laws pertaining to their product line is the sole responsibility of each vendor.

  • Sales tax requirements for the State of Texas are the sole responsibility of each vendor.

  • If you are selling any type of food, you will need to obtain a temporary food permit. The requirements to obtain this permit can be found using this link: http://www.houstontx.gov/health/Food/forms.html.

Additional Information:

  • The Breakfast Klub will not book like vendors on the same day.

  • Booth sharing is not permitted. This includes multiple businesses in one booth. Most direct sales companies have strict guidelines regarding this.

  • All cars must be moved before 8:45 am to the designated parking area.

  • Items for sale must be only those that have been approved by the Vendor Showcase Coordinator. The Breakfast Klub does not allow anything to be sold that is degrading to any gender or race, offensive, or questionable in nature.

  • Merchandise and displays are expected to be in a professional manner.

  • Novelty toys, antiques, resale, and flea market-type items are not permitted.

  • Vendors are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner.

  • Minors and/or guests who accompany vendors may not loiter at other booths or in the restaurant.

  • Booths must be staffed for the entire event.
