HOUSTON, TX – OCTOBER 3, 2019 - Earlier this year, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in partnership with MetLife and state and local chambers across the country, held a nationwide small business event series. Houston was one of four cities chosen to host the Small Business Summit. Marcus Davis was chosen to participate in the Houston Business Stars panel discussion at the Small Business Summit on March 5th. The Chamber of Commerce was so impressed with Davis’s presentation at the summit, they invited him to join the CO---National Summit on October 16th and 17th in Washington D.C.

Each year, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce welcomes more than 500 owners of growing businesses from across the country to the CO---national summit as the capstone event of their regional series. CO is an extension of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce aims to provide a gathering place for business owners to gain the skills and insight, they need to position their companies for growth. The event will feature structured networking opportunities, insightful business success stories, and how-to presentations focusing on specific business skills.

This two-day event will feature Converge on Congress on Wednesday, October 16th. Business owners will have the opportunity to tell their story and speak with lawmakers about current issues that are most important small business. On October 17th, many mainstage presentations will take place including the panel discussion entitled “America’s Business Stars”. Marcus Davis among other business professionals will share their success stories and insight on how to grow and maintain a business.
